OPEN YOUR HEART CONTEXTO: Rick um adolescente de 16 anos, escreve para a seção “Open your heart” de uma revista pedindo conselhos.
Melissa open to you
Dear Melissa.
I’m 16 and my friends think I’m polite and one of the nicestguys in the group. The problem is that I get shy when I’m near a girl I’m in love with. When I want to invite her to go out. I become very nervous: my heart beats faster, I start to sweat, and I can’t say a single word. To be honest, I’m afraid the girl might say ‘no’. So I get depressed and start esting a lot of junk food. Andworst of all. I’m getting fat. What should I do to get over this problem?
Rick

Dear Rick.
A lot of people get nervousin situationslike this. You’re not the only one. First of all, you should believe in yoursef.
If a girl says ‘yes’,that’s fine; but if she says ‘no’; you should worry so much. Every person is different. If a girl doesn’twant to go out with you, she should have her reasons. You should thinkabout your own qualities. Second, you shouldeat healthy food isntead fo a junk food. It will make you feel much better. Third exercise! Take a walk, go cycking, keep fit! You’ll relieve sress, and be healthier and happier. Finally, you should think about yourself, realease your tension, and breathe deeply. Don’t give up! Try again. The next answers may be ‘yes’. Good luck!
